STAYING SAFE DURING COVID-19
We’re taking steps to keep you, yours and ours safe. The rules:
If you aren’t feeling well or have been around someone who isn’t feeling well stay home.
If you are at a higher-risk of COVID-19 infection or complications, or have family members who are high-risk, stay home.
When you (teachers and students) arrive, we will take your temperature and ask if you have had any symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, chills, a sore throat, etc.) or have been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
If you have symptoms, have been exposed to anyone with symptoms or have a temperature of 100.4 degrees F/38 degrees C or higher, you will need to go home and not return to practice for at least 14 days.
Please wash your hands and/or use available hand sanitizer before you sign in.
At the beginning of every class, all students and teachers MUST sign in and provide a valid email address and phone number on the sign-in sheet.
All students MUST sign a new waiver, even if you already have one on file.
We are taking electronic payments only. Search “Karini Yoga” on PayPal or Venmo.
Mats must be AT LEAST six feet apart. Please place the top of your mat along the edge of the mat marker. No exceptions.
Please bring your own mat if at all possible.
We will not use blocks, blankets or bolsters in class.
Our teachers will use verbal cues only. No hands-on adjustments.
We are not teaching kriya or intense pranayama, e.g. breath of fire, lion’s breath, at this time.
We clean and disinfect the space after every class.
Any borrowed mats MUST be disinfected on all sides and left to dry for at least 10 minutes before they are put away.
Wash your hands/hand sanitize before you leave.
